This photograph shows a classic, rectangular photo camera from above. It rests on a blurred wooden table, the focussing screen is open, we can see the thin crosshairs, and in the middle of the nine fields they produce, there is what the camera is seeing: the black, small, elegant figure of a woman standing in the entrance of a room, undecided if to go in. The image is small but very sharp, in contrast with the blurred image of the cam itself and the silvercolored rotary knob on the left of the box.
